Do I need to provide finished drawings?

No. Finished drawings are not required to begin evaluation. Concepts, sketches, sample parts, or performance goals are enough for our team to assess feasibility and recommend a solution. Minimum order quantities (MOQs) will vary based on design complexity, materials, and manufacturing requirements.

Can you develop prototypes?

Yes. Foamtec Medical routinely develops prototype components to support fit, function, and performance testing before production. Our team can also support design revisions, pilot builds, and scale-up to manufacturing.

How do you help optimize a design for manufacturing?

During development, Foamtec Medical reviews component design, materials, and assembly to improve manufacturability, repeatability, and yield. We may recommend adjustments to dimensions, tolerances, or construction to help ensure consistent performance at production volumes.

Can you match an existing component we currently use?

In many cases, yes. Customers often approach us when an existing component requires improved consistency, supply stability, or performance. We can review samples, drawings, or performance targets and work toward a comparable construction suitable for ongoing manufacturing. Final suitability is determined through customer evaluation and verification testing

Do you provide samples for verification testing?

We can provide samples or prototype components so customers can perform fit, functional, and verification testing within their device. Sample evaluation is an important step in confirming performance prior to production release.
